Downtown Apartments

9.SQUARE has been fortunate to work on a pre-development concept for downtown apartments aimed at attracting young adults (that elusive "creative class") who want to live in close proximity to work, entertainment, services, and transportation.  The following are some quick sketched ideas for a 12 or 14 unit apartment building.

Option 1 is a 12-unit compact row style building with internal staircases to the 2nd Floor apartments.

Option 2 is a 14-unit building with a lower 1-story portion on each end that is a smaller studio unit (no parking stall).  Some parking is on site under a carport, but the rest is on-street.  There is an external stair to get to the apartments on the 2nd Floor which is also an expansive deck as a common area for outdoor seating, a grill, etc.
